Ontem foram revelados os nomeados ao prémio máximo do cinema mundial - os Oscars.
Numa cerimónia discreta e breve a actriz Mo’Nique (vencedora do Oscar de Melhor Actriz Secundária do ano passado) e o Presidente da Academia das Ciências e do Cinema Tom Sherak anunciaram os nomeados para todas as categorias dos Oscars 2011.
O grande vencedor desta primeira fase é o filme "The King’s Speech" ("O Discurso do Rei" em Português) com 12 nomeações entre as quais a de melhor filme, de melhor actor principal, melhor actor e actriz secundários e melhor argumento original, entre outros.
Mas a concorrência é forte e segue de perto, nomeadamente o filme o último filme dos irmãos Coen "The Grit", com dez nomeações, o famoso "The Social Network" e (uma das surpresas destas nomeações) "Inception" com oito e "The Fighter" ("O Lutador" em Portugal ou "O Vencedor" no Brasil) com sete.
Todos eles são fortes candidatos, mas nos dez nomeados para o melhor filme há duas surpresas: o muito independente e alternativo (vencedor do grande prémio do Sundance) "Winter Bone"; e o terceiro filme de animação na história da academia a ser nomeado para o grande prémio dos Oscars "Toy Story 3" (antes apenas "A Bela e o Monstro" e "Up" chegaram à grande categoria).
Os ânimos estão a aquecer, as apostas já estão na rua e os estúdios e agentes já estão no terreno a movimentarem-se pelo palmarés principal do cinema mundial.
